As part of the updates to the FEHA (Fair Employment and Housing Act), we now have a new Pregnancy Disability Leave poster you’ll need to add to your wall 4/1/2016.
Even the 2016 employment law posters don’t have this new notice so don’t think you’re already covered. However, this does replace Notice A and B for companies with 5 or more employees.

You must also provide this notice to any employee who even mentions pregnancy or asks about pregnancy leave.
Now the kicker. You need to provide a translated version if 10% or more of your employees are speaking another language at work. It doesn’t appear to make a difference if they can read and write English. If they are speaking another language, you should assume that’s the language they are most comfortable with and determine if they represent 10% of your employee base.
I am seeing more things requiring translation so we’ll just have to get used to doing it. If you need a Spanish translation for anything, HR Jungle can help!
